- First, you need to go to the Chrome browser and open the GRAS site. After opening the home page will load. On this warm page there is an option for registered user login.
- If you haven’t created an account on the GRAS site yet, there’s an option below to create a user account where you can create a new account.
- So after creating an account you need to enter your user ID, password and the matching text in the captcha then click on login.

- Now after clicking login the Grass account will open and on the home page all your details will be visible. From here you need to make a new payment.

- You can see many options up top so we need to go to “Make New Payment” to make a new payment. So, you will click on “Make Your Payment”.

- After going to “How to Make Your Payment” there is a “Citizen” option at number one which you need to select. If you are doing the stamp duty and registration fees for a rent agreement then select “Citizen”.

- Below this option there is “Make Payment to Register Your Document” at number one which you need to click. On that you need to select the option “Past Stamp Duty and Rest in Peace Together to the Government” at number one.
Stamp Duty Filling the Form
After that there is form will appear and you need to fill in all the details properly and genuinely. Select your district. After selecting the district, there’s an option for category below.

- In the category select based on where your property falls whether it’s rural or urban. In the third option you need to select the Joint Sub-Registrar Office based on your location a list will appear and you can choose from it.
- The fourth option is the article code. Here for a rent agreement you have to select the correct article which is “Leave and License Agreement”. Don’t make a mistake here. So you have to select the 861 option.

- In the first party you have entered the owner’s name. Now, you need to add the tenant’s name in the second party. Here too it’s the same enter the name of the second party then their PAN number.

- The second party only needs to enter the property details. For property details you will enter the flat number, survey number, locality, road and your pin code, area and city.

Payment Process Of Stamp Duty
Now, the last point is the payment mode. Since you are doing an online payment first check if your online or net banking is active. If your net banking is active you can make the payment through that.
So, you will select a payment option and check the list of banks because some banks might not be listed. From the list of banks available select your own. for example select State Bank of India.
Now, enter the captcha code below. Don’t enter the captcha incorrectly because it won’t process further. you need to click on proceed. A preview of your channel will appear. In this preview check if you’ve entered anything wrong or if any details are incomplete.

After checking all the details click on the agree button below. Once you click agree you need to click proceed.
After proceeding, a message will come read what it says. Then, you will be directly redirected to your payment gateway, where you can make the payment. After the payment is successful, you will receive a GRN number, which will be in a PDF, and you will get number 11. You need to verify that number on the agreement.
