What is the Process of the Tirumala Divyadarshanam

Procedure

  • The pilgrims can only reach Tirumala by foot using the Alipiri Mettu or the Srivari Mettu.

  • Free Divya Darshan tokens: Pilgrims have to obtain free Divya Darshan tokens, which are being distributed in the following manners:

  • Alipiri Mettu Route: The tokens are being issued at the Bhudevi Complex near the Alipiri Bus Station.

  • Srivari Mettu Route: The token is located in the 1,240 th step on the Srivari Mettu route.

  • Proof of Identification: An Aadhaar card should be carried to get the token. The tokens are issued based on biometric authentication and they cannot be transferred.

  • Token Validation: For example, in the Alipiri route, once the token is obtained, pilgrims are required to scan the token at the 2,083rd step. Otherwise, the token will not be valid darshan.

  • Daily Quota: The daily issue of tokens is restricted:
    Alipiri Route: 10000 tokens per day.

  • Srivari Mettu Route: 5,000 tokens per day.

  • Reporting Time: The devotees are requested to report as per reporting time mentioned on the token in order to enjoy the darshan.

  • Start Your Journey: Start your walk by foot via Alipiri Mettu or Srivari Mettu treks. Alipiri Mettu is approximately 3,550 steps and 9-kilometer track and Srivari Mettu is approximately 2,350 steps and a 2.1-kilometer track.
