Parakamani Seva 2025 is a unique service held by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at the holy Tirumala temple. It is counting and sorting the offerings given by the pilgrims in the temple hundi (offering box). It is a privilege for devotees to take part in the activities of the temple and assist in the maintenance of the offerings. The seva can be availed of by current or retired personnel of the Central or State Government, Public Sector Units (PSUs), Insurance, and Banks. The devotee should be a male with an age of between 35 to 60 years for the private sector staff and 35 to 65 years for public sector staff.

The Parakamani Seva is held on a daily basis, and devotees may opt for availing a three-day or four-day seva. The dress code for this seva is white banian and white pancha. Two small laddu tokens are given as prasadam at the end of the seva. The registration for this seva is online, and the tickets are available for Rs. 120 per head on the TTD website. This seva not only enables the devotees to serve the temple but also promotes their spiritual path by offering a more personal darshan experience.

    • The applicant who is applying must be between 35 to 60 years old.

    • A devotee can participate in Parakamani Seva only once in a year,.he cannot do twice a year.

Responsibilities of TTD Parakamani Sevaks


1. Hundi Offerings Counting
Sevaks are mainly entrusted with the task of counting and sorting the cash, coins and other offerings that are received in the Hundi.
They must take care of currency notes and coins of different values.


2. Organizing Cash through Sorting and Bundling
Sevaks arrange the cash in bundles as per their value ( 10, 50, 100, etc.) and tie them neatly.
They must verify the validity of notes and remove the damaged ones.


3. Dealing with Sacred Gifts
Some of the devotees offer gold, silver, jewelry and valuables in the Hundi.
These items are categorized and sorted out with the help of sevaks in presence of TTD officials.


4. Writing Down the Particulars
The cash and valuables counted are recorded to be accounted correctly.
Sevaks assist in making the count accurate and transparent.


5. After Security and Discipline
Sevaks must follow stringent rules and security procedures because they handle huge sums of money.
They do it under the vigilant cameras and TTD staff.
