Teppotsavam is a famous boat festival celebrated at Tirumala Tirupati Temple. It is also called “Float Festival”. This grand event happens every year in the month of March in Swami Pushkarini Lake near the temple. The festival lasts for 5 days and is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara.

March 2025 Teppotsavam Updates
In this year of 2025,The TTD Board is going to conduct the teppotsavam seva very gandly. starting from the march 9th to 13th, These five days are going to very auspicious to every devotee who are willing to avail the seva. All these days from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the srivari pushkareni lake the devotees are going to give their blessings while taking ride in the boat. On the first day of the seva the ammavaru will give the blessings with consort. on 2nd day the deity will rome around the lake with rukmini with three times.
on third along with the sridevi and bhomi devi the manayappa swamy will take the ride of three rounds. and also on the fourth with 5 rounds on 5th day wih 7 rounds are going to taken. Due to this seva the ttd has removed some arjitha seva to give the main importance to this seva. On the 8th and 9th the ttd has removed the sahasradeppalankarana seva alon with this on the dates of the10th,11th and 12th the ttd has removed the sahasradeepalankarana and arjitha brahmotsavam sevas.

- Day 1 & 2: On these days the idols of the deities of Lord Rama, along with the Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman are taken on a safari around the Swami Pushkarini lake.
- Day 3 to 5: The deities of Lord Venkateswara (Malayappa Swamy) along with Goddess Sridevi and Goddess Bhudevi are get a parade on this day after the completion of the rama and sita devi parade.

- Procession: Each evening the deities are placed on the decorated float, which is then gently get the parade in across the lake.
