Procedure To Book the Accommodation
To book accommodation, the devotees must have already booked a valid darshan ticket. Only if there is a valid darshan ticket, we will be able to book accommodation otherwise, it won’t allow us. Devotees should take note of this important point.
- if you are willing to book the ticket of the accomodation then you need to visit the official website of the ttd.
- choose the required accomodation option under the service, then you need to go login into the site by using you mobile phone then after the logged in . First, we need to go through the instructions…
- You should clearly read all the instructions before proceeding with booking the ticket. Let’s take a look at the instructions one by one.
- After reading and understanding all these instructions, tick the box that says “I have read and agree to the instructions”, then click on “Continue”.
- Now, under the Accommodation Details section, it will ask you to select the location. Options usually include Tirumala, Tirupati, and Talakona. You can choose your preferred location — here, I selected Tirumala.
- Next, it will ask you to select the service. That means, whichever darshan type you have booked (like Special Entry Darshan, Anga Pradakshina, Senior Citizen, Physically Handicapped, etc.), you have to select that same option here.
- Since I had booked for Differently Abled Persons, I selected that option.
- Once you select the darshan type, the option to “Book Accommodation” will become enabled. Click on that.
- Then, you’ll be asked again to select location and time slot. I selected Tirumala. The time slots will be divided into four:
- Midnight 12:00 AM to Early Morning 6:00 AM
- Early Morning 6:00 AM to Afternoon 12:00 PM
- Afternoon 12:00 PM to Evening 6:00 PM
- Evening 6:00 PM onwards
You can choose the time slot that suits you best.
Choosing the Rooms
- After midnight (12:00 AM), another time slot opens. Usually, the booking time slots are divided into four parts. You need to select the slot based on the time you can reach the temple. If you are even one minute late, your room will not be allotted, so select the slot that matches your arrival time and book accordingly.
- Once you choose the time slot, the available booking date will be displayed on the screen. For example, I booked for the 23rd, so it shows availability for 23rd and 24th. No other dates are shown, which means booking is open for only these two days. Choose either of these dates and continue.
- Now, the available rooms will be displayed along with their prices—₹100, ₹500, ₹1000, etc. Choose the one that fits your budget. I selected the ₹1000 room. The room price was ₹999, with no taxes or caution deposit, so the total amount is ₹999.
- After selecting the room, you will receive an SMS from the TTD Online Booking Portal saying the room is allotted for only 24 hours. Click OK and continue.
- Next, it will ask for Pilgrim Details. Before that, an important note will appear: it says, “It is requested to select any two names from the list for in-person accommodation confirmation.” So, you need to choose two people from your group who can reach the accommodation counter early.
- Even if you are booking for six people, select the names of two who will arrive first. For example, if some are coming by bus and others via footpath, the bus travelers will reach early. So, select their names, as they will be able to report at the accommodation counter on time.
- In my case, I booked for two people, so I ticked both names.
- Then, you need to fill in General Details. Address Line 1 and 2 are optional. But fields with a star mark, such as City, State, Email ID, must be filled in.
After entering the details, click Continue. You will then see a summary of:
- Pilgrim Details
- General Details
- Accommodation Details
You can edit any information at this stage if needed. Once everything looks correct, click Continue, and you will be taken to the Payment Option.
You can make the payment through:
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
- Credit or Debit card
- Net banking
I used my UPI ID and clicked on Pay Now. You will have 5 minutes to complete the payment. The total amount is ₹1000 (in my case ₹999).
Once payment is completed, the accommodation booking is confirmed.
Instructions for the Booking the Accomodation
First, accommodation can only be booked if you have a valid darshan ticket. Without a valid darshan ticket, accommodation will not be booked. Also, if for any reason you cancel the room or vacate it, a refund will be provided as per rules.
The accommodation is given only for 24 hours. You will be provided with the room strictly within the selected check-in and check-out timings. Once the time is over, the room will not be provided, so devotees should pay special attention to this rule.
Accommodation will not be provided to single persons or unmarried individuals. Even if they try to book and reach the place, room allotment will not happen. So this point must be remembered.
Also, one person can book a maximum of two rooms within 30 days. If they try to book again, it will not be allowed. So only two rooms can be booked within a 30-day period.
