Unjal Seva is the service in which idols of Lord Venkateswara, Sri Devi, and Bhu Devi are taken on a swing called Unjal in the hall known as Aina Mahal. This seva is also done during fesivals such as the Brahmotsavam, and is much favoured by many devotees.

Unjal Seva Ritual at Tirumala
In the Unjal Seva, the idols of Lord Sri Venkateswara & His consorts, Sri Devi & Bhu Devi are placed on an Unjal (swing) in the Aina Mahal or Addala Mandapam which is placed opposite to the Ranganayaka Mandapam. Lamps hang in the hall, giving it a divine type of light throughout.
In the Dolotsavam (swing ceremony) the priests recite Vedic hymns and the Mangala Vadhyam (musical instruments) are played.
